Dear colleagues and friends,
We are pleased to inform you that the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Banja Luka, in cooperation with 15 institutions and organizations, organizing the XIII International Symposium of Agricultural Sciences “AgroReS 2024” in the city of Trebinje from May 27 to 30, 2024.
The Symposium AgroReS 2024 is structured into a plenary and four scientific sessions – Crop Science, Horticulture, Animal Sciences and Agricultural Economics and Rural Development. The official language of the Symposium is English.
The Symposium will traditionally begin with an opening plenary session, and this time we have the honor of presenting three plenary speakers and the titles of their presentations:
- Patrizia Pugliese (CIHEAM Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari, Italy) Organic agriculture for territorial development: the experience of organic districts,
- Daniel Falta (Mendel University in Brno, Faculty of AgriSciences, Czech Republic) Agriculture 4.0 in livestock production systems,
- Adrian Asănică (University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest, Faculty of Horticulture, Romania) Challenges and opportunities for production system in berry crops.
Within four scientific sessions, we invite you to participate with an oral or poster presentation. You can choose to submit abstracts or full papers. Accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts. Accepted papers will be published in the Proceedings or in the Agro-knowledge Journal (Agroznanje) depending on the author’s decision.

The deadline for submitting abstracts or papers is March 1, 2024.
